The Crucial T710 2 TB (CT2000T710SSD5) is a high-capacity, next-generation NVMe SSD engineered for serious gamers and creative professionals. Leveraging PCIe Gen 5 ×4 and NVMe 2.0, this SSD offers blazing fast sequential read speeds up to 14,500 MB/s and write speeds up to 13,800 MB/s.

This model uses Micron’s 232-layer 3D TLC NAND, combining performance and durability. Its random I/O performance is very high: up to 2.2 million IOPS for reads and 2.3 million IOPS for writes, per Crucial’s spec.

The drive has an endurance rating of 1,200 TBW for long-term reliability.  It comes in a compact M.2 2280 form factor. For cooling, this version includes a heatsink to help maintain performance under sustained workloads. 

Security-wise, the T710 supports AES-256 encryption with TCG Opal 2.01+ (per Crucial’s spec). It also supports Microsoft DirectStorage to improve game load times and texture streaming
