The Crucial T705 Gen5 1 TB SSD (CT1000T705SSD3) is a top-tier, high-performance NVMe drive built for next-generation storage. It uses PCIe 5.0 ×4 with NVMe to hit sequential read speeds up to 13,600 MB/s and write speeds of 10,200 MB/s, according to Crucial.

Powered by Micron’s 232-layer 3D TLC NAND, this drive packs very high random I/O performance — up to 1,400,000 IOPS for reads and 1,750,000 IOPS for writes. The endurance rating is 600 TBW, making it durable for heavy workloads

This model is the non-heatsink version, with a compact M.2 2280 (22 × 80 mm) form factor suitable for systems that provide their own cooling.  Despite being designed for Gen5, it’s also backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 motherboards.
