The Crucial T710 2 TB (CT2000T710SSD8) is a high-performance next-generation NVMe SSD designed for gaming, creative workloads, and power users. It uses a PCIe Gen 5 ×4 NVMe interface to deliver outstanding sequential speeds — up to 14,500 MB/s read and 13,800 MB/s write.

Built using Micron’s G9 232-layer TLC NAND, it combines fast speeds with reliable endurance.  The drive offers very high random I/O performance, with up to 2.2 million IOPS for reads and 2.3 million IOPS for writes, per its product specs.

Endurance for this SSD is rated at 1,200 TBW, making it suitable for sustained, heavy-duty workloads. It comes in a M.2 2280 form factor.

The T710 supports Microsoft DirectStorage, helping to accelerate game loading and texture streaming.  For encryption, it supports AES-256 with TCG Opal 2.01+ (according to retailer spec).
