The Crucial T710 4 TB NVMe SSD (CT4000T710SSD8) is a next-generation, high-performance drive designed for gamers, content creators, and power users who demand top-tier throughput and capacity. Built on a PCIe Gen 5 ×4, NVMe 2.0 interface, it can reach sequential read speeds of up to 14,500 MB/s and write speeds up to 13,800 MB/s.

This drive uses Micron G9 232-layer TLC NAND, providing both performance and endurance.  Its endurance rating is 2,400 TBW, making it suitable for sustained, heavy workloads.

For security and performance: it supports AES-256 with TCG Opal 2.01+ encryption (per third-party spec) and delivers very high random I/O performance (up to ~2.2 million IOPS read / ~2.3 million IOPS write).

Thermal management is flexible: a heatsink version is optional, but the non-heatsink SKU relies on system/M.2 slot cooling. The drive also supports Microsoft Direct Storage, making it a very good choice for modern gaming and fast texture streaming.

Despite being a high-speed Gen 5 SSD, the T710 is more power efficient than older models — Crucial states it uses less power compared to the T705.And like many Crucial SSDs, it comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
