The StarTech DP2DVIMM3BS is a 1M active adapter cable that converts a DisplayPort 1.2 output from a PC, laptop, docking station or workstation into a DVI-D signal — allowing direct connection to older DVI-only monitors, projectors, or displays. Because the adapter is active, it regenerates and converts the DisplayPort signal (digital) to DVI-D (single-link digital), meaning it works even if your graphics card does not support DP++ / dual-mode output. The short-cable, integrated design reduces clutter, making it ideal for desktop workstations, small desks, or setups where space is limited.
