The StarTech DP2DVI2 is a compact, passive adapter that converts a DisplayPort (DP) output from a desktop, laptop or docking station into a DVI-D (digital) signal — enabling you to connect a DVI-only monitor or projector directly to a modern DisplayPort-equipped PC. Its small form factor (about 6 in / 15 cm) makes it easy to carry or fit into tight workspaces. As it requires a DP++ (DisplayPort++) / multimode-enabled port on the source device, it’s ideal for quickly re-using existing DVI displays without needing a new monitor or expensive converter.
