When you are in close range of the Apple Find My ecosystem, you can locate your lost item by selecting “Play Sound” in the app, which allows you to follow the beep to your item. You can also select your item in the app and track it on the map – an anonymous, encrypted process to protect your privacy. Another app feature, Lost Mode, allows you to enter your contact details so others in the Apple Find My network can assist in locating your missing items.
